Remembering Dave Bartholomew

Dave Bartholomew, a trumpeter, composer and bandleader who helped create rock ‘n’ roll, died Sunday morning (June 23) at age 100. Bartholomew’s partnership with Fats Domino produced some of his greatest successes, including the chart-topping “Ain’t That a Shame”.
